With persistent dry and hot weather, Pakistan wheat production for 2022/23 is forecast at 26.4 MMT, four percent lower than last year. Estimates suggest Pakistan will need to import around 3MMT of grain to meet the local shortfall. Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) invited bids for Import of 500,000 MT Wheat on 16-05-2022.
