CASDE released Corn’s forecast report of June 2022

According to the CASDE June report, released on 10 June 2022. The total sown area of corn is expected to reduce by 2% i.e. 42.52 Mha in 2022-23, compared to 43.32 Mha in 2021-22.

The 2022-23 production forecast for corn remains the same as MY 2021-22 is 272.56 MMT, but the import of corn has reduced by 10%. In 2022-23 imports are expected to be 18 MMT, compared to 20 MMT last year.

China's total consumption is estimated to be 290.51 MMT in 2022-23, which is 1% more than the previous year.
