As per the customs, in the first five months of MY 2022-23 (Apr to Aug), the country exported more chickpeas (all varieties) than the whole MY 2021-22. It exported a total of 129 KMT from Apr'22 to Aug'22, out of which Kabuli exports were 59 KMT.

Chickpea exports for the month of Aug, 2022 were 12.64 KMT, compared to 5.40 KMT same period last year.  Kabuli exports for the same month amounts to 6.38 KMT and majority importers were UAE and Egypt.
