During the period of July 2022 to June 2023, a total of 1,112 thousand metric tons (KMT) of peas were exported from Russia. Although the export of Russian peas had a sluggish beginning in MY 2022-23 and experienced a slower pace for several months, the demand for Russian peas in European countries witnessed a revival during the last four months of the season. Additionally, China showed interest in purchasing Russian peas as well.

For the current season, Turkey stands as the leading partner, closely followed by Spain and Italy. Among these countries, Italy and Spain emerge as the prominent consumers of feed peas within Europe, taking on the role of major importers as well.
