Statistics Canada (StatsCan) released a crop production forecast for 2022/23 on 14 September 2022. According to this report, Canada expected 2,777 KMT of lentils, 157 KMT of Chickpeas, and 3,586 KMT of Dry peas. StatsCan increased production by 23 KMT of Chickpeas from the previous estimate (July 2022) and decreased lentils and dry peas by 129 KMT and 24 KMT respectively.
